1. I got my house cleaned today and it looks SO good. I also had the area rug in the great room cleaned. It's a good feeling to have that done.2. Every time I think I might just be understanding "computer stuff" I am put in my place by something as simple as placing a picture where I want it to be in a post!!!
3. My lunch with Yellowrose was loads of fun. We met at a great little restaurant called Rafferty's and had a tasty lunch. Pictures will be in a separate post.
4. I finished a really enjoyable book today. It was "Death on the Family Tree" by Patricia Sprinkle. She is a Georgia author and this is her first book in a new series. If you are the least bit into genealogy you will enjoy this book.
5. I wish I could I gone to Macon, GA to meet Lazy Daisy and Flip Flop Floozie for lunch. Daisy is visiting Floozie in Savannah and they thought they could meet halfway but I just don't have a day this week I can do that. BOOHOO! Well, you can't have everything.
6. I find I am very concerned about poor Paris Hilton and her impending jail time. I am not sure she will know how to function without 'her people' there to do everything for her. What's a rich girl to do? She is being picked on and it's just not fair.......NOT!
7. Thank goodness I finally got my nails done yesterday. My hands look so much better. It's amazing what a little pampering can do for a girl!
8. My sweet son brought me lunch today. I had told him I thought I would go to McDonald's for a burger and I would buy his and DIL's lunch if he was coming home. He came in with my lunch but that was all. His wife had cooked their lunch but he brought mine anyway! He didn't have to do that. He's so sweet.
9. Hubby and I have a lunch date tomorrow! I am looking forward to it.
10. Have you seen "The Last King of Scotland"? It is a great movie about a very sick man. There are a few gruesome scenes but it truly holds your attention.
11. "The Prestige" is also a very good movie. If you saw "The Illusionist" and like it you need to see this one.
12. I hope I sleep better tonight. Last night my RLS was acting up and I didn't get to sleep until after 1:30 am!
13. I haven't said anything until now but I'm just wondering....how will we all know who and what to believe when Rosie leaves 'The View'!!!
