Can you feel it? The crispness in the air, the twinkling lights, the look of anticipation on the faces of children........the crowded malls, the crowded parking lots, the crowded roads TO the malls......it's all part of this time of the year.
Well, yesterday I was in the crowd! First I went to the chiropractor and then shopping. I was surprised that the traffic was not as bad as I thought it would be. As I turned into the Target parking lot I saw how full the lot was and I said a little prayer: "Lord, if I could find a parking spot that isn't too far from the door it would be wonderful." Just then I a woman getting in her car and it was a great spot. I was ecstatic and breathed a thank you to God. While I was waiting for her to pull out suddenly a car pulled out from a closer space and I grabbed it. I was SO thankful.
I got several things that I needed to get including a couple of gifts and some great gift bags. I found the cutest little pair of shoes for my sweet grand daughter (I couldn't help myself)! I have most of my shopping done....most of which I have done online. I have a few more gifts to purchase and I will be DONE!
Now, I need to concentrate on decorating the house. I don't have my tree up yet but plan to take care of that by the weekend. How are you doing with your shopping?
