1. My UPS guy and I are on a first name basis........especially this time of the year!!
2. My gray hair is not long for this world. I'm getting it covered up on Friday. YEA!!!
3. Clementines are in the grocery store. YUM, so sweet and so good.
4. Wouldn't this be a sad, sad world without peanut butter???
5. I just finished a very enjoyable book. "Bet Your Bottom Dollar: A Bottom Dollar Girls Novel" by Karin Gillespie. The setting is small town Georgia in The Bottom Dollar Emporium. It was funny, sweet, and very familiar!
6. I am loving the new show, "Samantha, Who?" It is really funny and smart. The characters are entertaining and the writing is well done. It stars Christina Applegate and Jean Smart (Designing Women) plays her mom. What a hoot!
7. Please pray for the country and people of Venezuela on Dec. 2nd. That is the day they vote on the reforms that Chavez wants to enact. If passed he could be president for life!! We are very concerned for our dear friends. The shortages are causing LONG lines and SHORT tempers. The situation is not good.....PRAY!
8. We got a new mattress set two days ago. It is firmer than the one we had and I think will be much better for our backs. Time will tell.
9. I have one broken nail.......my hand looks lopsided. I think a manicure is in my future!
10. What do you make of my fascination with crime dramas? CSI: Miami; Bones; Criminal Minds; NCIS; The Unit; Law and Order (all of them)........am I some kind of sick minded weirdo or is it just a phase????
11. Why is "Survivor" still on television??? You do know that the contestants are not in these remote locations alone......don't you? There is an entire TV crew, medical personnel, etc. It's really getting OLD!
12. My precious grand daughter, son and DIL are coming to our house today (Thursday). It is so much fun to watch her growing and changing. I am really loving this whole Grandma thing!
13. I love seeing the Salvation Army kettles this time of year. I never pass one without dropping something in. I actually manned a bucket one Christmas while I was in college. The Salvation Army ministers to the least, the last and the lost among us. Be generous when you see them ringing that bell.
