1. I ran over my own big toe with my husband's motorized cart. Talk about stupid! I was loading it on the carrier on the back of the car and instead of pressing the reverse lever I pressed the FORward lever and it ran over my foot! Nothing is broken but my big toe turned a lovely shade of BLACK, then purple, now it's kind of bluish!
2. My son's dog got attacked by another dog last night. I got the other dog off him but then he ran and hid and I couldn't find him. This morning he was on the front porch so I wrapped him in a towel and took him to the vet. The vet couldn't see any obvious wounds but he is keeping him today to check him and to give him his shots, a bath and a haircut!!!
3. My mother's caregiver is a dear, sweet woman and is doing a fabulous job. But I did get so tickled with her one day. She came in my house with mother to bring the mail and she was wearing a walking cast. I asked her what happened. She told me she had hurt her foot a couple of weeks prior and finally went to the doctor. Are you ready.......she said the doctor told her she had torn some tendaments!!!! I didn't laugh until she left!!! She is a good ol' country girl and I am not making fun, I just thought that was classic!!!!
4. I am going to get my hair highlighted today. I only do that because I like the way it looks...NOT because I have any gray in my hair. Is that clear......I HAVE NO GRAY!!!!! At least I won't AFTER I leave my hairdresser today!
5. Poor Chikizie was sent home last night. I was VERY upset. He has such a great voice. But, someone has to go home every week until they have a winner.
6. I am itching to get something planted in my front yard. However, I am NOT a gardener and whatever is planted has to be something that does not require much care.......I'm talking just watering and some fertilizer occasionally!!!! Suggestions??????
8. Have you heard that the President of a certain country that we visit often agrees with his good friend, the dictator of an island just 90 miles from Miami, that because of the global warming on earth, which the U.S. is responsible for, the pigs on Mars have all died!!!!! I did NOT make this up.
9. My husband filled up his Tahoe with gas this morning......$79.40!!!!! WHERE WILL IT END????
10. I got my car washed, inside and out, yesterday. It looks SO much better. When I went out to claim my car the attendant wanted to know if I was pleased with the way it looked. I told him it looked wonderful.....especially the inside because I had enough dog hair in it to make another dog!!!!
11. I am going to our Minister's Spouse's Retreat tomorrow and will return on Sunday. I am SO looking forward to it. It will be fun to sit up and laugh and talk with friends and have someone else prepare my food and clean up!!!
12. I miss my sweet Zoe. She and her mother have spent the past three days with the other grandparents while our son was out of town on business. They all come home today!!!!
13. Anyone want to come paint my bedroom?????? I have two walls that are sheetrock in our bedroom (the other two are log) and they were painted hunter green when we built the house. That was SEVEN years ago and I am ready for a change. Suggestions???
